Obituary for Emma Jean Stooksbury
Miss Emma Jean Stooksbury-age 82 of Sharps Chapel passed away Thursday, October 31, 2019 at her residence. She was a member of Irwin Chapel United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Platt and Willie Stooksbury; two brothers, Loren and Cuble Stooksbury; three sisters, Dorothy Stooksbury, Joan Rouse and Corrine George.
Survivors: brother, J. B. Stooksbury; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Nelle and Robert Vandergriff. Several nieces, nephews and many friends. The family would like to express a special thank you to caregiver, Mrs. Dalla Weaver and Amedisys Hospice for their care.
Graveside service 11 A.M. Saturday, November 2, 2019 at New Loyston Cemetery, Andersonville with Rev. Greg Sharp officiating. Family and friends may meet at the funeral home by 10 A.M. Saturday to go in the funeral procession. Pallbearers: Nephews. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
