E. Pauline “Polly” Dyer-age 93 of Maynardville passed away Saturday, August 10, 2019 at her home. She was the oldest living member of Hubbs Grove Baptist Church and a retired Union County School Teacher having taught at Paulette, Burkhart and Maynardville Elementary Schools. She spent her many years of retirement caring for her flower gardens. She was preceded in death by parents, H. I., Sr. and Dena (Koch) Raley; sisters, Dorothy Raley, Evelyn Raley, Edith Kitts and Geneva Lay; brother, Raymond Lewis Raley.

Survivors: daughter, Carol Osborne of Knoxville; sisters, Maxcene Monroe, Betty Brooks, Christine Leach and husband, H. E. Leach, all of Knoxville; brothers, Dewey Raley of Knoxville; H. I. Raley, Jr. and wife, Cheryl of Maynardville. Several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends 6-7 P.M. Monday, August 12, 2019 with funeral service to follow at 7 P.M., Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Scott Thompson officiating with music by Singers of Hubbs Grove Church. Interment 10 A.M. Tuesday, August 13, 2019, Pleasant View Cemetery, Maynardville. Please meet at the cemetery by 9:45 A.M. Tuesday. Pallbearers: Larry Lay, E. J. Lay, Greg Monroe, Darryl Raley, Chris Tolliver, Lance Lay.
