Clyde Ray-age 84 of Sharps Chapel passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Claiborne Medical Center. He was a retired employee of Union County Highway Department. Preceded in death by wife, Bonnie Beets Ray; parents, Mannie and Hope (King) Ray.

Survived by his daughter, Carolyn Ray of Sharps Chapel along with friend, Chris Burke. Several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral service 2 P.M. Sunday, June 30, 2019, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Greg Sharp officiating with music by the Leatherwood Singers. Interment will follow at Cox Cemetery, Sharps Chapel. Pallbearers, Chris Burke, Richard Ott, Gary Ott, Mark Ott.

The family will receive friends 5-8 P.M. Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
