Obituary for Marie Smith Dozier
Marie Smith Dozier-age 72 of Washburn passed away Saturday evening, July 20, 2019 at her home. She was a member of Nave Hill Baptist Church. Marie was the daughter of the late Fate and Lenior “Haynes” Smith. Also preceded in death by her husband, Allen Dozier; son, Timmy Dozier; daughter, Kim Loveday; brother, Paul Smith; sister, Bonnie Needham.
Survivors: son, Greg Dozier and wife, Tammy of Washburn; grandchildren, Cyndel Dozier, Trevor Dozier and Tiffany Loveday; great-grandchildren, Makayla McClain, Miley Dozier, Maci Dozier and Maveric Dozier; sister, Virginia Hickman. Several nieces and nephews along with a host of friends.
The family will receive friends 3-4 P.M. Monday, July 22, 2019 with funeral services to follow at 4 P.M. Monday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Gabril Haynes officiating with music by Sandra Nicely. Interment will follow at Cleveland Cemetery, Washburn. Pallbearers: Billy Nicley, Larry Nicley, Rick Atkins, Trevor Dozier, Scott Nicley and Robin Nicley. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
